Shaping governments of the future

Over the last two decades, CrimsonLogic has been helping governments transcend conventional services by providing groundbreaking solutions in trade, healthcare, legal and citizen services. CrimsonLogic has chosen to present the E-Government award as we place high importance in nurturing creativity and new thinking when pioneering new ways of building, implementing and operating e-government services.

Since its inception, CrimsonLogic has been a trusted partner to the Singapore government. We have been privileged to implement several projects spanning eTrade, eJudiciary, eHealthcare and eCitizen, which received strong endorsements from the local and international community. Today, Singapore’s eGovernment Programme is recognised as one of the most advanced in the world and we remain strongly committed to maintaining this leadership position.

We are currently involved in projects in India, the Middle East and Southeast Asia and Latin America markets. Among our portfolio of projects include a citizen data hub for the state of Uttarakhand in India, an integrated eJudiciary programme for the United Arab Emirates (UAE) Ministry of Justice, trading and customs management systems for Panama, and an eTrading system for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

As a premier e-government solution provider, CrimsonLogic ensures that citizen’s personal information is never compromised. Significant resources are invested in security infrastructure as keeping networks and transactional activities secure will help build the confidence in doing online transaction with governments. A case in point is our implementation of the Singapore Personal Access (SingPass) system, in which we manage citizen identity through using a common online ID password for citizens to transact with government.

CrimsonLogic also safeguards the technological viability of every solution for the future. We focus on laying solid foundations that will become productive legacies for effective government services. Additionally, to help developing countries reap the benefits of e-services, CrimsonLogic uses a Public Private Partnership (PPP) approach to enable governments to work in partnership with private entities to offer e-government solutions.

Citizen buy-in is also important. Governments are confronted with the challenge of low adoptability and the need for innovative ways to increase services take-up. In this area, CrimsonLogic provides continuous training and education for the administrators and ongoing support to market e-services to the citizens.
