Wait for it … it’s not a site that lets you register your micro, small or medium enterprises (MSME). It’s a site which allows you to submit a form to be given permission to then apply to register your micro, small or medium enterprise.
The new web site for online submission of applications to obtain “acknowledgement for Entrepreneur Memorandum’” has been launched by the Minister for Rural Industries, Tamil Nadu.
Any new entrepreneur who wants to establish an MSME can log on to www.msmeonline.tn.gov.in and file his application online. After the application is filed, the acknowledgement for Entrepreneur Memorandum Form is generated online, which will then allow the budding businessman to apply for a daunting series of local and state level clearances - which must still be processed offline.
So far 1400 applications are filed through this site since its soft launch in the middle of August.
