IT has provided the opportunities for governments to remodel the entire process of tax collection over the last decade. It is, however, a continuously evolving process and governments the world over need to constantly upgrade their tax systems to optimise their revenue workflows.

Secondary schools in India are to be granted more information and communications technology (ICT) to help teach disabled children. Screen readers and Braille printers are among the technologies to given to school around the country.
The Ministry of Human Resources Development has prepared a National policy on ICT in school education that aims at preparing youths to participate creatively in the establishment, sustenance and growth of a knowledge society. The policy envisages modernisation of school infrastructure with ICT facilities.
“We have prepared the draft policy on OCT. After consultations, the policy will be finalised and will be sent to Cabinet for approval,” a HRD source said.
The draft policy says that use of ICT aims to achieve the goals of inclusive education in schools.
