Singapore govt launches blog for youth

The government of Singapore has launched a web site, www.p65.sg, to serve as a platform for Singaporeans born after the city-state’s independence in 1965 to write about “anything under the sun”, even race and religion.

Parliamentary Secretary, Teo Ser Luck said: “The p65 blog will serve to allow young people to share their views, which are non-partisan, neutral and can be constructive criticism of policies.”

The site is one of several moves by the governing party PAP and its MPs have taken to make themselves known online and gather feedback. In the past year, the People’s Action Party, Singapore’s ruling party, has revamped its web site to include videos and podcasts, while the MPs have set up accounts on social networking site Facebook and micro-blogging site Twitter.

The p65 blog was set up by the post-65 MPs five months after the 2006 election. The early postings were personal, non-political blogs for the young to get to know their political leaders. It was also a way for them to get feedback on political issues.

But the blog suffered from a lack of contributors, so the new site has lined up eight regular contributors, among them Singaporeans studying and working abroad.

I'm the sort of hombre who passions to taste original stuff. Presently I am fabricating my private pv panels. I'm doing it all by myself without the aid of my staff. I am utilizing the internet as the only path to acheive that. I discovered a very amazing site which explains how to make pv panels and wind generators. The internet site explains all the steps needed for solar panel construction.

I am not really sure about how accurate the information given there iz. If some experts over here who had xp with these things can have a see and give your feedback in the thread it would be awesome and I would really treasure it, cauze I really take an interest in solar panel construction.

Tnx for reading this. You people are the best.

I think that the blog is looking pretty good and seems to be doing a lot better with much more contributors. I think that it will be huge in a year or two as search engines take a little bit to catch on to all the newer blogs that are out.
