The service is designed for those who have contracts with the building maintenance directorate at the Ministry of Works. It is now possible for them to submit their application via the website and follow up on the progress anytime, anywhere.

The launch of the new e-service is in line with the efforts of the e-government authority as well as other government ministries, to provide an integrated and updated e-government system in tandem with the Bahrain Economic Vision 2030.

The IT Director at the Ministry of Works, Hisham Al Sater, has urged all beneficiaries in the public and private sector to turn to the e-government portal website to submit their applications.

The ministry receives over 200 applications every month across the Kingdom, and processing through traditional means has become time-consuming, said Al Sater. As such, the ministry has placed this service among its top priorities in order to enable applicants to finalise procedures easily and quickly.

The maintenance application service is one of the 72 e-services available at the e-government portal and the 4th service offered by the Ministry of Works.
