The report, released by research firm Springboard Research, also expects the Greater China region (including Hong Kong and Taiwan) to contribute the largest share of this growth,

Australia and New Zealand (ANZ) is ranked as the second largest public sector investor in Asia Pacific, while India is the fastest growing country in the region.

The Greater China region (including Hong Kong and Taiwan) contributed the largest share at 42.7% to Enterprise Networking spending by the public sector across Asia Pacific (excluding Japan), says the latest research report announced today by Springboard Research. Springboard’s report, titled “An Opportunity Emerging: Networking in the Public Sector,” saw Australia and New Zealand (ANZ) region as the second largest public sector market, with India as the fastest growing in the region.

One of the key drivers of this increase is the increasing focus on cross-department collaboration and connectivity between different levels of governments.

Rural areas, many are yet to be connected at present, are also expected to benefit from the increased investment. This is also in line with many governments’ aim to provide better services to citizens across the board.
