The newly launched MPS, called Enterprise Print Service, is an end-to-end enterprise document management outsourcing service designed to manage documents—from the office to the in-house print centre to remote or mobile printing.

The service also extends to mailrooms and the designing of documents.

With Enterprise Print Service, organisations can reduce their total cost of ownership across the enterprise print infrastructure and improve their business processes.

The service is also expected to reduce energy consumption and carbon emissions for all print related activities and minimize risks to business continuity.

Masaki Okano, President of Fuji Xerox Global Services said companies are often unaware of the total costs of internal and external printing beyond the office environment.

“It (Enterprise Print Service) provides the office and mobile workforce a seamless and flexible on-demand print environment without compromising on budget, environmental regulatory requirements and security protocols,” he said.

Ram Rao, Vice President, Fuji Xerox Global Services, said that the service had already been implemented, and had resulted in a bank in Hong Kong reducing costs by over 40 per cent. Typical energy efficiency savings would be between five and twenty per cent, he added.
