The call, launched on 31 May 2011, wants to achieve “innovative cloud based projects” that can:

  • Enable infocomm infrastructure development for IN2015 vertical clusters (such as digital media, life sciences, manufacturing, financial services, retail and tourism, and education) as well as specific sectors like transportation and construction.
  • Support specific lighthouse projects which would illustrate and promote the use of the infrastructure in the IN2015 verticals.
  • Establish Singapore as a Shared Services Hub.
  • Support infocomm capability development.
  • This Call 3 for Cloud Computing Proposals is asking for Singapore-registered companies that can perform trials, proof-of-concepts and testbedding.

IDA will give a public briefing on the call on 10 June 2011 and the projects will be awarded during September 2011.T
