By the end of 2011, Nepal’s Ministry of Education is expected to put out an ICT in Education Masterplan with UNESCO’s support.
This plan seeks to guide the education sector in using ICT as a fundamental tool for effective teaching and learning processes as it is now the right time to introduce initiatives that strengthen the use of ICT in education in Nepal”, according to UNESCO.
Hence, the UNESCO Office in Kathmandu, in collaboration with the Nepal National Commission for UNESCO and the UNESCO Office in Bangkok, is supporting the masterplan’s preparation.
