The Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) will establish a comprehensive database for all local government units in Central Luzon region.
The initial planning stages for this project have already begun, announced by the DILG today.
“This project is an initiative of the Regional Office. We seek to have a database that is not only limited to basic, socio-economic, environment, and administrative profiles of local government units but other vital information as well that can be used in crafting a programme or in providing technical assistance and other related services” DILG Regional Director Florida Dijan said.
According to her, a Technical Working Group has already been created that is chaired by Assistant Regional Director Abraham Pascua.
Data from the DILG showed that Central Luzon region has a total of 7 provinces, 14 cities, 116 municipalities, and 3,102 districts.
