Once the system is in place, auctioneers, regardless of their location, can simply login to JDA’s official website to view and bid on available properties. JDA will register the bid and after necessary verification procedures the properties will be sold to the highest bidder.

According to Jaipur Development Commissioner Kuldeep Ranka, the revenue cell is expected to sell a chunk of land through the new e-auction system.

“Once this system is in place, the public will not have to make the rounds of JDA office to bid for any land,” he said.

Furthermore, the e-Auction is expected to promote transparency in how negotiations are conducted in the auction and bidding processes.
