Thanya Kunakornpaiboonsiri is a journalist with FutureGov Magazine, where she covers developments in the modernisation of Thailand’s public sector. A native of Bangkok, she previously worked on The Nation, one of Thailand’s leading newspapers.

After receiving an undergraduate degree in journalism from Chulalongkorn University, Thanya took her masters at Leeds University’s Institute of Communications, in the United Kingdom. She won a ‘Young Reporter’ prize from the Reporter & Journalist Association of Thailand.
